Fred and Gaye Buergin

Fred and Gaye Buergin celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 21, 2008. Gaye M. Handshy and Fred L. Buergin were married June 21, 1958 in Miami, Oklahoma. They lived many years in Cherokee, Kansas and currently reside in Nevada, Missouri. The couple have 1 son and 4 daughters. They are: Dave Buergin and wife Cheryl of West Mineral, Kansas, Julie Curran and husband Mark of Girard, Kansas, Lisa Glaser and husband Doug of Columbus, Kansas, Misty Verga of Columbia, Missouri, and Traci Windsor and husband Dalton of Pittsburg, Kansas. The couple also have 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A special dinner is planned at Dalton’s  Event Facility by the children to celebrate the occasion.
