Larry and Carolyn Kirkham of Midwest City, Oklahoma are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Dawn to Travis James Rockers, son of Jerry and Linda Rockers of Monett, Missouri. Travis is the grandson of Bill and Virginia Rockers of Columbus, Kansas and Loren and Eileen Powell of McCune, Kansas. The bride-to-be is employed by Winding Creek Elementary School in Moore, Oklahoma as a teacher’s assistant. The prospective groom served eleven years in the U.S. Air Force as part of an AWACS crew. He now owns twenty-one rental homes in the Midwest City, Oklahoma area. A September 12th wedding at Harvest Life Church in Midwest City, Oklahoma is planned.
