Tickets are now available for the 12th annual Horses of Hope Country Christmas Dinner Theatre, the center’s largest annual fundraising event.
The dinner theater will be held Dec. 4, Dec. 5, Dec. 11 and Dec. 12 at the heated indoor arena just south of Columbus. Activities will begin with a social hour from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Homemade hot apple cider and cookies will be served, with music provided by the Duling Band, Girard. A silent auction will feature gifts for all ages.
A traditional country holiday dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. Dinner and dessert will be followed by a live auction.
The production “Fear Not Factor” will begin around 7:30 p.m. The musical features a cast of children and adults from throughout southeast Kansas who will help uncover the true meaning of Christmas. The musical is created by Dennis and Nan Allen.
Tickets for the fundraiser are $30 per person, and free for children under 5. Tables of eight can be purchased for $195. Payment can be cash, check or major credit card. Those wishing to reserve their tickets or a table should call 620-674-3458.
Horses of Hope is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization serving children and adults. Contributions are tax deductible as allowable by law. The organization strives to physically improve, spiritually enhance and emotionally empower the lives of individuals.
