Little Balkans Festival Association accepting applications

Little Balkans Festival Association is currently accepting applications for the 2008 arts and crafts booths during Little Balkans Days.
The arts and crafts festival will be on Aug. 30 only in downtown Pittsburg, shifting from Fourth and Broadway north to Fourth and Broadway south, to provide an atmosphere for the festivities by including the Pritchett Pavilion, Immigrant Park and the Miners’ Memorial.
This will also provide vendors with a more concentrated traffic area. Vendor parking will be provided near the arts and crafts area.
The festival will be divided into sections for artisan and handmade crafts, non-handmade items and Kids Zone. Non-profit organizations, church groups and home party businesses are invited to also join in Little Balkans.
There will be one booth size, 15 by 10 feet, and each booth will have an assigned space. Registration booth fee will be $50 for the one-day show. Booth spaces will be assigned on a first come basis as applications and fees are received.
