Sunflower Kiwanis

Sunflower Kiwanis Club will meet for breakfast at 6:45 a.m. in dePaul Hall, Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center.

George Graham, president, will preside over the business session. For the program, each club committee will meet to discuss events and projects for the upcoming year.
Executive board will meet at 6 a.m.

Club members will collect aluminum cans from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Dillons parking lot.

Rotary Club

Pittsburg Noon Rotary Club will meet in dePaul Hall, Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center. Program will be presented by Ben Windham on Rotary Water Well Projects  and Larry Biron on an update of the Medical Supplies Network.

Talaat Yaghmour will give the vocational minute, and Brian Jones will serve as song leader. Joe Grisolano will give the invocation, and Bob Beasley will have introductions. Joe Hart will be sergeant at arms. Greeters will be Brad Hodson, Patty Horgan and Chuck Hosman.

PHS Football Banquet

Pittsburg High School Quarterback Club will have its annual football banquet to celebrate the season and honor seniors at 6:30 p.m. at Pittsburg Memorial Auditorium.

Tickets are $12.50 each, and must be purchased in advance on or before November 30. Tickets are on sale at Ron’s Supermarket. Tickets must be purchased in advance. All PHS supporters are welcome to attend.

Rob Morris Chapter No. 74
Rob Morris Chapter No. 74, Order of the Eastern Star, will have a stated meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the Masonic Center, 3105 N. Joplin.

Ro Jean Ward, worthy matron, and Dee R. Ward, worthy patron will preside. Officers will open in long form, followed by the regular order of business. Officers will exemplify the degrees of the order. Refreshments will be served by Vicki Palmer and Eleanor Snider.

Members are asked to bring can goods or any non-perishable items to be donated to a local food pantry.

Chapter CP, PEO
Chapter CP, PEO, will have a dinner meeting at 6 p.m. at the home of Gina Pinamonti. Assisting will be Joyce Cumiskey, Julie Hamilton and Terri Allen.

Members are asked to bring children’s hats, mittens and socks for The Farm.
