Michael Sean Fenech was one of 235 medical students who received the doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences during commencement exercises May 16 in Kansas City, Mo.
Dr. Fenech is the son of Betty and Joseph Fenech, Neodesha. A 2000 graduate of Neodesha High School, he earned a bachelor of science in biology from Pittsburg State University in 2004.
He will complete postdoctoral training in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Joseph Mercy Medical Center, Pontiac, Mich.
Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences’ College of Osteopathic Medicine is a fully accredited, private university of medicine. Founded in 1916, it is the oldest medical school in Kansas City and the largest in Missouri.
