Pittsburg Kiwanis Club will meet at noon in dePaul Hall, Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center.
Larry Weaver will speak on Kiwanis Service Leadership Programs. Mark Kolarik will give the invocation, and Joe Beauchamp will be greeter. Cashier will be Helen Kriegsman.
Senior Pinochle Group
Senior Pinochle Group will meet at 4 p.m. at the Homer Cole Community Center.

Gospel meetings
Gospel meetings are planned at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sunday at the Church of Christ, 702 W. Fourth.
Speaking will be Clint DeFrance, Columbia, Mo. All are welcome, and no nightly offerings will be taken.
Frontenac bingo
Frontenac American Legion will sponsor bingo, open to the public, every Thursday at the Frontenac Senior Citizens Center.
Doors will open at 5 p.m., and play starts at 6:30 p.m. A total of 16 games are played, and the evening usually ends about 8:30 p.m.

George Nettels Elementary School PTO will sponsor a school skate from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lowe’s Skateway.

Pittsburg American Legion Post 64 will have sloppy Joes available for $1.50 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the lounge at the post home, 2815 N. Joplin. Lounge will open at 3 p.m.
