PITTSBURG —

Library movie
Pittsburg Public Library Adult Services Department will show a “Summer Flick” at 1:30 p.m. In keeping with the summer reading program theme, “Book a Ticket to Paradise,” the film will be a 1937 classic based on a James Hilton novel about a group of people who survive a plane crash and discover themselves in Shangri-La.
The movie will be shown on a large screen with theater quality sound. Refreshments will be served.
The movie will be open free to all persons aged 16 and older. Anyone needing additional information may call the library at 231-8110.

Book Fair
GIRARD — A Scholastic Book Fair will be held June 13-24 at the Girard Public Library. Hours will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Senior Citizens
Pittsburg Senior Citizens Club will meet at 12:30 p.m. in Lincoln Center for finger foods and bingo. Leola Bray will give a program on the history of the U.S. flag.
Members are asked to bring a covered dish. Those wishing to eat without providing a covered dish will be charged a $1 fee.
Anyone needing additional information about the club may call the Pittsburg Parks and Recreation Department, 231-8310.

Legion bingo
American Legion Post 64 will host bingo night, open to the public, at 6:30 p.m. The canteen will be open.

Cruise night
COLUMBUS — Wheels of Fun Car Club will host cruise night at 6 p.m. at Sonic, 228 W. Maple, Columbus. There will be trophies, dash plaques, door prizes and a 50-50 pot. Everett Wilson will be DJ.
The June club meeting will be held following cruise night.
