AARP board
Crawford County AARP Chapter 646 board of directors and committee chairmen will meet at 9:30 a.m. at the Homer Cole Community Center to plan October programs. Other business will also be conducted.
Martha Roberts, president, will be in charge.

Daughters of Nile
Azrim Temple, Daughters of the Nile, will meet at 10 a.m. at Mirza Shrine Center to sew for patients in Shrine Hospitals.
Lunch will be served at noon by Azrim past queens, with Pam Masoner, past queen, as chairman.

Frontenac Rotary
Frontenac Rotary will meet at noon at Bamboo Palace. Dana Cook of the Pittsburg Salvation Army will present the program.
Teresa Shouse will serve as greeter, Jane O’Bryan will be sergeant at arms, and Chuck Cook will be Rotarian of the Day.

UCT
United Commercial Travelers of America, a benefit society, will have a monthly meeting at 4 p.m. at the Mall Deli.

Alpha Kappa Chapter
ARMA — Alpha Kappa Chapter, Phi Tau Omega sorority, will have a monthly business meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the Arma Community Center with Connie Morris and Susan Robinson as co-hostesses.
Members unable to attend should contact one of the hostesses.

Legion bingo
Pittsburg American Legion Post 64 will host bingo night, open to the public, at 6:30 p.m. at the post home, 2815 N. Joplin. The canteen will be open.
