Wesley House now seeking donations to fund distribution of school supplies, shoes

Wesley House is now seeking donations to fund its annual distribution of school supplies and shoes to local needy families.
“Several years ago, Wesley House began distributing school supplies and shoes to needy families in Pittsburg USD 250, and this outreach ministry has now grown to encompass all schools in Crawford County,” said Ellie Foster, Wesley House pastor/executive director. “We anticipate assisting approximately 800 children this year.”
Churches, organizations and individuals wishing to donate may mail their donations to Wesley House, 411 E. 12th, Pittsburg, Kan., 66762, or call 232-3760, ext. 10. Checks should be made payable to Wesley House, with “school shoes and supplies” designated on the memo line.
Donations should be received before July 31. School supplies and shoe vouchers will be distributed on Aug. 7.
