Reunion held for Nick's Drive-In

Girard High School Alumni and others attended the 2nd Annual June Nick’s Drive-In Reunion held Saturday June 20, 2009.

Former Nick’s employees and relatives of Nick and Eileen Southard and others who frequented the “hot spot” Girard Drive-In attended the cookout held at the Crawford Lake Shelter House.

Approximately 60 friends enjoyed hamburgers prepared by former frycook and President of the Association, Bill Cussimanio from Highlands Ranch, Colorado.

The Nick’s Reunion Committee have made tentiative plans for the 3rd Annual get together to be held in conjunction with the GHS Class of 1960 50th Alumni and other classes held in Girard on the 3rd week-end in June 2010.
