Kelsie Martin and 2nd Lt. Scott Lechner were married June 6, 2009 at the Stav Church, Moorhead, MN. Parents of the couple are Ron and Barb Martin, Fargo, ND; and Alan and Diane Lechner, Leavenworth, KS. Kelsie graduated from Pittsburg (KS) State University in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She taught 4th grade last year at Valley Center, KS. Scott was previously enlisted in the Army and served a tour of duty in Iraq. He graduated from the ROTC program at PSU this spring and was commissioned a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
They are at home at Ft. Eustis, VA. where Scott is assigned to Military Logistics; and Kelsie is employed by the Newport News, VA school district where she is teaching 3rd grade.
