PITTSBURG —

Amanda Michelle Chandler and David James Bastian were married March 29 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Pittsburg, KS.  Father Robert McElwee officiated the 2:30 double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Frank & Elaine Chandler of Parsons. 

The groom is the son of Sherry Richardson of Joplin, MO and Jim Bastian of Loma Linda, MO.

Lindsey Stringer & Kate Lindeman both of Overland Park, KS shared the role of matron of honor.  Ty Wood of Chetopa, KS, cousin of the bride, Kirstie Skelton of Oronogo, MO & Melissa Martinez of Olathe, KS were bridesmaids.

Eric Lankford of Mount Juliet, TN was the best man.  Darin Nonemaker of Joplin, MO, Justin Thiel of  Broken Arrow, OK, Chris Elbert of Neosho, MO, Rob Yust of Joplin, MO & Josh Heffrin of Bella Vista, AR were groomsmen.

Drew & Ryan Chandler, brothers of the bride, and Theron Landwehr, cousin of the bride, were ushers. 

Madison McCary, niece of the groom was flower girl and Carson McCary, nephew of the groom, was ring bearer.

Kayla McCary, niece of the groom and Peyton Frisinger, cousin of the groom were candle lighters.

Bonnie Wood, aunt of the bride was the lector.  Maeve & Kathleen Duling, cousins of the bride, attended the guest book.  Jill Proctor and Eric Fitzmorris were vocalists. 

The reception was at Parrott Bey.  Aunts of the bride were cake attendants. 

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Parsons High School and a 2007 graduate of Pittsburg State University.   She is employed as a Wellness Specialist for Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center in Pittsburg.

The groom is a 1998 graduate of Seneca High School.  He is employed as a General Manager for BBA Corporation in Pittsburg

Following a honeymoon to Jamaica, the couple are at home in Pittsburg.
