A 17-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly threatening another woman with a samurai sword Tuesday.

Taryn M. Slack is also accused of damaging several other items in the victim’s apartment.

The attack happened about 6:20 p.m., police said. The victim said Slack moved in for several days because Slack had been having problems with her mother.

Slack had a friend who caused problems at the house Monday, so the victim told Slack she had to leave, police said.

On Tuesday, Slack allegedly became angry while picking up her things and waved the sword around while threatening to harm the victim. Slack then went in and allegedly damaged the victim’s property, including a mirror, curtains, a serving tray, candles and jewelry.
