FRONTENAC — Officers from the Frontenac Police Department arrested two men in Barto’s Trailer Park Saturday.

Tyler Ritz, 22, of Pittsburg, was arrested for burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia, and Aric Hill, 21, of Pittsburg, was arrested on two outstanding warrants.

According to Public Safety Director John Zafuta, the Frontenac Police Department received several reports of break-ins to homes and residential garages between January 3 and 5.

Acting on tips from the public and officer initiated interviews, officers executed a search warrant at 607 Douglas Street. According to Zafuta, officers recovered a significant amount of stolen property, marijuana and drug paraphernalia at the scene. Ritz and Hill were arrested at the scene.

Both Ritz and Hill are still being held at the Crawford County Jail. Ritz is being held on a $7,000 bond. Hill’s bond is set at $3,000.

Zafuta said the investigation is ongoing, and additional charges are expected following the conclusion of the investigation.
