Church Choir to sing Easter morning
The Pittsburg Presbyterian church choir under the direction of Susan Laushman and Our Lady Of Lourdes choir under the direction of Carol Cook, will unite their singers to form a choir of 50 voices for Easter morning. The combined choir will sing 9 a.m at Mass at Our Lady and at 11 a.m. worship at Pittsburg Presbyterian. The music will be the same at both churches, and will feature celebratory choral anthems with brass, strings and organ.
Big Brutus Easter Service
The annual sunrise Easter service will be at Big Brutus at 6:30 a.m. Pastor Ben Scott will conduct the service. Bring lawn chairs.
The Pittsburg American Legion Post 64 will host Sunday Dance at the Pittsburg American Legion, 2115 N Joplin. Doors open at 1 p.m. and the dance is from 2-5 p.m.

Daughters of the American Revolution
The regular meeting of the Oceanus Hopkins Chapter of the Daughters of the American
Revolution will be at 5:30 p.m. at the Pittsburg Public Library.
Little Balkans Quilt Guild
The Little Balkans Quilt Guild will meet at 7 p.m at the Presbyterian Church of Pittsburg, KS, corner of Sixth and Pine Streets.
