GIRARD — Crawford County Zoning Administrator Troy Graham presented the Crawford County Commission with updated zoning and subdivision regulations at its regular meeting Tuesday.

Graham asked that the commission formally adopt the finalized regulations, but the commission opted to table the vote until its Friday meeting to allow time for further review.

Graham also reported once the new regulations are finalized, he will begin finalizing a codes court policy for the county.

County Clerk Don Pyle presented a packet of budget proposals for next year, with comparisons to last year’s budget to the commission. He said he plans to have a full draft of the budget ready for Friday’s meeting. The commission scheduled a budget work session for 9 a.m. July 7 and 11.

Commissioner Jeff Murphy presented an update of ongoing renovations at the Crawford County Fairgrounds. Murphy said a pump station, manhole and 6-inch line for the new sewer has been put into place. The 6-inch sewer line has been tied into the new restroom facility and American Legion building.

“I really appreciate the hard work our employees have been putting in,” Murphy said. “The county’s portion of the renovations should be completed by fair time.”

The commission also scheduled a work session with IMA Consulting to discuss health insurance consulting for 11 a.m. July 7.
