1. Juggling Performance

The Pittsburg Public Library is bringing in Juggler Brian Wendling as part of its summer reading program Friday. Wendling is an International Jugglers’ Association champion who combines award-winning juggling, comedy and audience participation into high-energy entertainment. To allow more attendance, Wendling’s performance will be at St. John’s Activity Center just west of the library. The show begins at 1 p.m. and is free to all ages.

2. Charity Golf Tournament

The Girard Medical Center Foundation is hosting its 15th annual charity golf tournament Saturday at Crawford Hills Golf Course in Girard. The three-person scramble tournament has a registration fee of $120. Tee times are at 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Register with the golf course at 620-724-8855.

3. PittNaz in the Park

Pittsburg Church of the Nazarene is hosting an evening in Lincoln Park Friday. The church will have food, as well as children’s games and pony rides if the weather permits. Kiddie Land will be open at Lincoln Park and the church plans to show a family friendly movie in the evening. The event runs from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. All are welcome.

4. Lucas Gates at Kansas Crossing

Kansas Crossing Casino will have a free music performance by Lucas Gates Friday night at the Bronco Bar. The show will begin at 8 p.m.
