PITTSBURG — A much anticipated enrollment option will be available on Thursday for the USD 250 school district.
Online enrollment will help the school be more effective in communicating and enrolling students.
“This will be an efficiency for the secretary and it will reduce time parents have to spend on enrollment, as well as save paper,” USD 250 Public Information Director Zach Fletcher said. “People have been requesting it over the past four years — we found a solution we think is right.”
Students who have already been enrolled previously at the USD 250 school district can enroll online starting Thursday.
The parents must have entered valid information in previous enrollment forms — including valid email — in order to receive the email with a password for the online enrollment account.
New students or students without valid information in the school’s database will need to enroll in person.
Online re-enrollment will begin Thursday and will be available into the next week.
In-person enrollment will be 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday at Pittsburg Community Middle School. There will be computers for parents to use for online enrollment during in-person enrollment.
