PSU Jazz Concert
The Pittsburg State University jazz ensemble and jazz combo will open its season with a free concert at 7:30 p.m. in the Bicknell Family Center for the Arts. Director Bob Kehle said the concert will have something for everyone, from jazz standards to new works, including songs from the libraries of Count Basie, Les Hooper, Buddy Rich, and more. The concert is open to the public.
Arma Red Hat Belles
Arma Red Hat Belles will meet at Otto’s Cafe at 11 a.m. Hostesses will be Emma Louise Ales, Mary Ann Boyd and Mildred Nicoletti.

TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) 0975, Girard, meets every Monday at 511 N. Western in Girard, KS. Private weigh-in will begin at 5 p.m. and end at 5:45 p.m. Meetings begin at 6 p.m. A support and motivational program is presented each week to encourage members to reach and maintain weight loss goals. The Arma American Legion will have bingo open to the public every Tuesday starting at 6:30 p.m. This week progressive blackout will pay $300 for 50 numbers. High roller progressive bingo will pay $1,200 for 52 numbers.
