1. City of Pittsburg Trick or Treat

Trick-or-treaters are invited to the City of Pittsburg Trick or Treat, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at City Hall, 201 W. 4th St., Pittsburg. Kids of all ages and their parents can come collect treats in the front lobby of City Hall. This event is free and open to the public.

2. Pittsburg YMCA Halloween Carnival

From 7 to 9 p.m., on Halloween, the Pittsburg YMCA will host its Halloween Carnival. This is a free event for children 3 to 12 years old. The night will include carnival games, door prizes, refreshments and a costume contest at 8 p.m. There will be free flu vaccinations provided by the Pittsburg Sunflower Kiwanis and the Crawford County Health Department.

The first 75 children will receive a free backpack donated by JC Penney.

3. Frontenac Halloween Parade

Frontenac students will parade in downtown Frontenac at 1:30 p.m., on Halloween. The community is welcome to watch.

4. Frontenac United Methodist Church Trunk or Treat

Frontenac United Methodist Church will host a trunk or treat from 5:30 to 7 p.m., on Halloween, at the church. The event is free, along with the hot dogs, apple cider and of course, candy. A family friendly Halloween movie will be projected on the side of the church when it gets dark.

5. PittNaz Trunk or Treat

PittNaz will host Trunk ‘n’ Treat from 6 to 8 p.m., on Halloween, at the church. The event is free and there will be popcorn and candy.

6. Countryside Church Trunk or Treat

Countryside Church Trunk or Treat will host its free event from 6 to 8 p.m., on Halloween, at the Church.

7. Trinity Baptist Church Trunk or Treat

Trinity Baptist Church will host its free event from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., on Halloween, at the church’s parking lot.

8. City of Girard Trunk or Treat

From 6 to 7 p.m., on Halloween, at the city square in Girard businesses and churches will provide candy for children.

9. City of Arma Trunk or Treat

There will be a free trunk or treat from 6 to 7 p.m., on Halloween, in the 400 block of east Washington Street in Arma.
