Free Speech Presentation
“Free Speech in Times of Crisis” will be presented by Stephen Wolgast at 6:30 p.m. at the Pittsburg Public Library. Wolgast is a professor of journalism and digital media at Kansas State University. The program is free and open to the public.
Diabetes Education Program
The Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas will host a free Diabetes Education Program at 6:30 p.m. The topic will be holiday cooking with guest speaker Brenda Brennan. The program is free and open to the public.
PEO Chapter CP
PEO Chapter CP will meet at 10 a.m. at the home of Deanna Fields. The program will be on the Block 22 Update presented by Shawn Naccarato.
PEO Chapter IO
PEO Chapter IO will meet at 1 p.m. at 1302 Bitner Drive. The program will be presented by member Pat Baker.
PEO Chapter AQ
PEO Chapter AQ will meet at the Colonial Fox Theater at noon. Attendees may enter through the front or rear of the theater. There will be a report on the International Convention given by Linda Jackson of Fort Scott. The program will be a tour of the theater given by Vonni Corsini. Chapter AQ sisters are encouraged to bring recipes for inclusion in the upcoming cookbook.
Trivia night is at Gusano’s from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Sunflower Kiwanis will meet for their weekly meeting at 6:45 a.m. for breakfast in dePaul Hall at Via Christi Hospital.
The Arma American Legion will have bingo open to the public every Tuesday starting at 6:30 p.m. This week progressive blackout will pay $450 for 56 numbers. High roller progressive bingo will pay $1,200 for 58 numbers.

Arma Golden Era
The Arma Golden Era Club meets at 619 E. Washington in Arma the third Wednesday of every month at 2 p.m. at the Golden Era. After a short meeting, attendees will visit and play bingo. All area senior citizens may attend.
