New Women’s Group
A women’s group for mature, open-minded women is starting in the Pittsburg area. The group will host its planning and start-up meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the Jennifer Girth DC Office, 302 E. 4th Street. Light refreshments will be served.
Pittsburg American Legion Bingo
The Pittsburg American Legion will host bingo every Friday at the legion home. Doors open at 5 p.m. Early bird games are at 6:20 p.m. and regular bingo is at 6:30 p.m.

Alpha Kappa Senior Citizens
Alpha Kappa Senior Citizens Christmas Party will be at 1 p.m. at the Arma American Legion. For more information, call 620-347-8787.
Kiwanis Pancake Day
Pancakes, sausage and more will be available for $5 for adults, $2 for children. Live entertainment will also be available. Pancake Day takes place in the lower level of Memorial Auditorium, and proceeds benefit local youth programs.
Holiday Craft Fair and Santa’s Workshop
Pittsburg Parks and Recreation Department will host its 9th Annual Holiday Craft Fair & Santa’s Workshop in the lower level of Memorial Auditorium. The craft fair is open from 8 a.m. to noon, and Santa’s workshop will be open for children from 9 a.m. to noon. Admission to both events is one non-perishable food item for the Wesley House.
Pittsburg Parks and Recreation is presenting a Zumbathon to benefit local students through Communities in Schools. The Zumbathon takes place from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Lincoln Center.
Journey to Bethlehem
Countryside Christian Church will present Journey to Bethlehem from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Journey to Bethlehem is an outdoor, walk-through drama portraying the birth of Christ.
Look for Sunflower Kiwanis members collecting aluminum cans from 8 a.m. to noon on the SW corner of Dillon's parking lot.
The VFW Ladies Auxiliary will have their regular meeting on the second Saturday of every month at 9:30 a.m. at the post home.

Raymond Community Home Open House
The Historic Raymond Community Home in Girard will have an open house from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Children from R. V. Haderlein Elementary will sing carols at 3 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
The Pittsburg American Legion Post 64 will host Sunday Dance at the Pittsburg American Legion, 2115 N Joplin. Doors open at 1 p.m. and the dance is from 2-5 p.m.
