Pittsburg American Legion Bingo
The Pittsburg American Legion will host bingo every Friday at the legion home. Doors open at 5 p.m. Early bird games are at 6:20 p.m. and regular bingo is at 6:30 p.m.
The Pittsburg Public Library Third Tuesday Book Discussion is rescheduled for 1 p.m. Friday at Pittsburg Public Library.
Senior Citizens Club
Pittsburg Senior Citizens Club will have Science Day beginning at 1 p.m. at Lincoln Center. The day includes a science group project. Refreshments will be served. Bingo cards are 25 cents each.

Pittsburg American Legion
The American Legion, 2815 N. Joplin, hosts a noon feed for veterans on the third Saturday of every month. Additionally, an accredited veterans service officer with the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 317 and sponsored by American Legion Post 64 Pittsburg will be present beginning at 8:30 a.m. Please call 620-231-2240 to make an appointment.

MLK Ball at PSU
Pittsburg State University will host its first-ever Martin Luther King Jr. Ball from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the Crimson and Gold Ballroom inside the Overman Student Center. The night will include refreshments and a DJ. It is open to the community.
SEK NOW’s local Women’s March will begin at 1 p.m. in front of Russ Hall on the PSU campus. Participants will march to Pritchett Pavilion for a rally including several guest speakers.
Sunday, January 21
The Pittsburg American Legion Post 64 will host Sunday Dance at the Pittsburg American Legion, 2115 N Joplin. Doors open at 1 p.m. and the dance is from 2-5 p.m.
Monday, January 22
Co-Dependents Anonymous is a 12 step fellowship of men and women whose common purpose is recovery from codependence and the development and maintenance of healthy relationships. CoDA meets at noon at St. Peter’s Episcopal, 306 W. Euclid. For further information call 620-231-0499.
TOPS 0599 (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) meets every Monday at St. Mary's Grade School located at 301 E. 9th. Private weigh-ins are from 5:30 to 6:20 p.m. Meetings start at 6:30 p.m. and are designed to provide motivation and support to help members reach their weight loss goals. Visitors are always welcome. TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) 0975, Girard, meets every Monday at 511 N. Western in Girard, KS. Private weigh-in will begin at 5 p.m. and end at 5:45 p.m. Meetings begin at 6 p.m. A support and motivational program is presented each week to encourage members to reach and maintain weight loss goals.
