PITTSBURG — Two Pittsburg residents were arrested on drug charges early Friday morning.

According to a release from the Pittsburg Police Department, PPD officers arrested Antaun R. Sams 28, and Shawna M. Sams,35, both of Pittsburg, following the execution of a search warrant at their residence, located at 812 W. 1st St., Pittsburg.

According to the release, during the search several items believed to be cocaine, marijuana, and related drug paraphernalia were allegedly located within the residence, along with a handgun, which was determined to have been stolen from a residence in Pittsburg.

Antaun R. Sams was arrested for felony possession of cocaine, felony criminal possession of a

weapon by a convicted felon, misdemeanor criminal use of a weapon, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Antaun Sams is being held on $5,000 bond.

Shawna M. Sams was arrested for felony possession of cocaine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Shawna Sams was released on $3,000 bond.
