PITTSBURG — A Monopoly-themed business expo will give the community an opportunity to discover what local businesses have to offer.

The Pittsburg Area Chamber of Commerce will host, what they call Biz-opoly, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the Meadowbrook Mall. It’s open to the public and free to attend.

Chamber Special Event Coordinator Dani Gosch said there will be 34 businesses joining the expo this year.

From small businesses to large, home improvement and to health care providers — each will be competing for the best booths. The winners will be announced as best use of theme, best use of product and best overall at the chamber coffee at the mall before the event begins. Winners will be given a trophy.
