PITTSBURG — Pittsburg police officers served a federal arrest warrant at a Pittsburg motel, Monday.

According to a release, at about 12:45 p.m., Monday, PPD served a Federal arrest warrant on a subject at the Regency Inn and Suites, in Pittsburg. During this incident, items believed to be methamphetamine, marijuana and phencyclidine (PCP) were located and seized.

Damon Lamont Beamon, 45, of Kansas City, Missouri, was arrested without incident on a Federal no-bond felony probation violation warrant, in which the underlying charge was bank robbery. Beamon was also arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and PCP with intent to distribute, felony possession of methamphetamine and PCP, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

The drug possession and distribution charges will be sent to the Crawford County Attorney's Office for review.
