Girard graduate moves up UMB ladder

Craig Anderson, 1978 Girard High School graduate, was recently promoted to president of regional banking for UMB financial, the bank’s holding company, according to the Wichita Eagle.
In his new position, Anderson will oversee the bank’s $8.3 billion operations in Arizona, Colorado, Missouri (excluding Kansas City), Oklahoma and Kansas. Prior to the promotion, Anderson was in charge of the bank’s operation in Kansas Oklahoma, according to the Eagle.
Anderson, who attended Southwestern College in Winfield, lives in Wichita with his wife, Susie, and children Jillian and Mark. He is the son of Andy and Jo Anderson, of Pittsburg.
