Dave Touchton with Touchton Alarms said he is pleased with the initial response since officially announcing the company’s expansion into the greater Joplin, Mo., market.
Touchton Alarms, a Pittsburg provider of electronic security solutions, has been concentrating its energies in the area since early spring, focusing on Joplin’s business and residential communities.
Touchton has joined the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce as well as the Greater Joplin Business Connection BNI Chapter, building relationships throughout the Joplin business community. Those early efforts have paid off as Touchton has recently completed the installation of new security systems at Roper Kia, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and Carlson Chiropractic Center.
“They were very fast and very friendly.” said Jef Frost, owner of Roper Kia. “They were also very thorough and informative through the whole process.”
“Touchton Alarms has exceptional customer service. They explained in great detail what needed to be done and how it would be done,” said Heather Carlson, Carlson Chiropractic Center’s Director of Operations and Marketing. “The follow up and training has also been exceptional. I really appreciate their great product and their thorough approach to the entire process.”
Touchton Alarms is a family owned and operated business, and was founded in 1972 as Touchton Electric by Elijah "Touch" Touchton. The business began with Touch's wife, Doris and the children, Janet, Dave and Joanne, all working together to establish the business and soon they became an independent dealer for Nutone products. Through Nutone, residential and commercial alarm systems were introduced and later, the installation of fire alarms and medical alerts were added. The title of Ademco Installation Dealer was given to the company and Touchton Alarms began.
