Davis joins Commerce board of directors

Brian Sutton, Commerce Bank president, recently announced the election of Pittsburg community and business leader, Jonathan Davis, to the bank’s local Advisory Board of Directors.  Davis is president and CEO of Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center. 
"We are very pleased to have Jonathan join our advisory board and build on a tradition of excellence in attracting quality board members to our bank,” Sutton said. "In addition, his strong insight and experience will guide us in providing our customers with financial services that will help our community prosper.”   
Active in civic and professional organizations, Davis currently serves as chair of the Kansas Hospital Association’s Health Policy and Advocacy Councils and is a board member of the Pittsburg Area Chamber of Commerce and the Kansas Association of Healthcare Executives.  Davis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology from Arkansas State University, Jonesboro, Ark., and his Masters in Physiology from Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, Ariz.  He also has a Master of Public Healthcare Administration from Tulane University, New Orleans, La.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and was named Young Administrator of the Year in 2005 by the Arkansas Healthcare Executive Forum.
