Big brother's and big sister's event

Big brother's and big sister's is working together with Bella Vita Salon to help raise money and awareness for the program. BBBS is in desperate need of people to volunteer to be a "Big" and help make a difference in a special child's life. There are over 3,000 kids in Kansas alone waiting for a mentor. We especially encourage high school junior's an senior's to volunteer to be a "Big" and volunteer a few hours a week with a child. Children involved in this program are 46% less likely to use drugs, 27% less likely to drink, 52% less likely to skip school and 33% less likely to use violence as a resolution to problems. There will be a table set up to inquire about becoming a mentor, or to sign up to mentor a child! Bella Vita Salon will also be doing haircuts for only $10 on this day only, and donating 100% of the profits to the BBBS program. Please help us raise awareness for all the children still waiting for a mentor. For more information, please contact Tanya Gourd at 620-224-2100.
