Vilmer Post
Betty Lou Vilmer American Legion post 394 will meet at 11 a.m. at the post home.

New officers were installed at a recent meeting. They are: Pat Neeland, commander; Geri Bass, vice commander and chaplain; Nadine Johnson, honorary vice commander; and Connie Gangwer, treasurer.

Christian Women’s Fellowship
Christian Women’s Fellowship, a new Christian luncheon club, will meet at 11:30 a.m. at Parrott Bey.

Speaker will be Kaye Lynne Webb. Anyone needing additional information or reservations may call Dee Montgomery at 231-2442 or 249-3899.

Bingo
Golden Living Center will host bingo at 1 p.m. at the Homer Cole Community Center, 3003 N. Joplin.  Anyone needing additional information may call the center at 231-9773.

Zone 6 Garden Club
Zone 6 Garden Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. at Blossoms, Saddles and Sequins, 2723 N. Broadway.

This will be a hat meeting, and members are encouraged to wear their garden hat. Those attending should also bring a chair and insect repellent.

Linda Fox and Dan Longan will present the program. Hostesses will be Nancy Hurt and Opal Trites.

American Legion
Pittsburg American Legion Post 64 will have a business meeting at 7 p.m. at the post home, 2815 N. Joplin. Results of elections will be announced. An executive meeting will follow.

Quilt Guild
Little Balkans Quilt Guild will meet at 7 p.m. at the Pittsburg Presbyterian Church.

The program will be about Lerlene Nevaril and her “Midnight Quilts.” All guild meetings include a show and tell, and visitors are also encouraged to share current projects.

Alicia Burk, a representative for Teen Wrap, will accept this month’s donation quilts on behalf of the Crawford County Health Department.

Girard TOPS
GIRARD — TOPS Group #0975, Girard, meets Mondays at the Girard Presbyterian Church. Weigh-in begins at 4:45 p.m., with the meeting following.

All interested persons may attend. Anyone needing additional information may call 620-724-4096 or 620-235-1790.

Frontenac card games
Card games will be played from 1 to 4 p.m. every Monday except holidays at the Frontenac Senior Citizens Building. Primary game is pinochle, but any card game is welcome.

Snacks and beverages will be available. Anyone needing additional information may call 230-0707.

TOPS No. 599
TOPS No. 599 (Take off Pounds Sensibly) meets every Monday at College Heights United Methodist Church.

Private weigh-ins are from 5:30 to 6:20 p.m. Meetings start at 6:30 p.m. and are designed to provide motivation and support to help members reach their weight loss goals.

Visitors are always welcome. Anyone needing additional information may call 620-719-7813.
