Retired City Employees
Retired City Employees Group will meet at 11:15 a.m. at the Corner Bistro, All retired Pittsburg city employees and their spouse or a friend may attend.
Senior Citizens Club
Pittsburg Senior Citizens Club will meet at 1 p.m. for a business session and bingo. Club members will also celebrate August birthdays and National Watermelon Day.

Legion bingo
Pittsburg American Legion Post 64 will host bingo, open to the public, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the post home, 2815 N. Joplin.
Doors will open at 5 p.m. Early bird game will start at 6:20 p.m., with regular play following The event is non-smoking. Jackpot stands at 58 numbers for $300.
