Today Kansas State Representative Terry Calloway (R-Pittsburg) announced he has filed for re-election in the Kansas House of Representatives’ 3rd District.
“It has been my honor and privilege to serve the 3rd Statehouse District of Kansas,” said Representative Calloway. “Since arriving in Topeka, my priority has been to focus on growing the Kansas economy and to create more private sector jobs. I remain committed to ensuring the policies put forth by the Legislature are best for my constituents.
Since joining the Legislature in 2011, Representative Calloway has worked on a number of issues important to the 3rd District including Transportation, Education, balancing the budget, limiting the size of government and cutting taxes.
“Representative Calloway is dedicated and respected member of the House,” said Speaker of the Kansas House of Representatives, Mike O’Neal (R-Hutchinson). “He brings a credible voice to many issues and has been a tireless advocate for his district. The Pittsburg representative currently serves on Taxation, Health and Human Services, Education, the Joint Committee for Information Technology, and the Special Committee on KAN-ED Study Commission.
