PITTSBURG —
Pittsburg USD 250 will be breaking new ground this afternoon, turning dirt to start the construction process at each of the four elementary schools to add space for all-day kindergarten.
The district will hold groundbreaking ceremonies at all four sites simultaneously, with each starting at about 2:30 p.m. Board members and district staff will be split up across the sites.
The measure for all-day kindergarten was approved by Pittsburg patrons in an April election. Public attendance is welcome.
