Pittsburg Farmers Market
Pittsburg Farmers Market will open at 7:30 a.m. and run until noon or sold out at Second and Broadway. Parking will be available in the Bank of America parking lot, with a new walkway built for customers to walk over to the market.
Jacob Weber, Kansas State University Extension horticulture agent, will be in the information booth with fall gardening advice and will also answer horticultural questions. Lorraine Hobson will be information booth volunteer. At the community booth will be Ashley Rhuems and her daughter, Paris Taylor, 7, to raise funds for the Children’s Miracle Network Miss Miracle Pageant which Paris will participate in. Musical guest at the market will be Jim Harris.

CARTHAGE, Mo. — The 26th annual Summer Coin, Stamp, Postcards, Sportscards and Collectibles Show will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Carthage, Mo., Memorial Hall.
Dealers from Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas will offer 53 tables of merchandise. Admission will be free, and food will be available on the premises.

Pittsburg American Legion Post No. 64 will have a noon lunch for members at the post home. Lounge will open at 11 a.m.
Scrabble Club

Cockerill/Foxtown Union
Cockerill/Foxtown Union Schools reunion and Hall of Praise induction ceremony will be held at the Miner’s Hall Museum, Franklin.
