Enterprise Rent-A-Car should be moved into its new location on S. Broadway and ready for business by Monday, officials said Friday.
“It's a better area, and Enterprise has set new company standards and wants all of its offices to look the same, said employee Sean Sullivan. “It’s an opportunity for us to get into it.”
Manager Freddy Doyle was not available for comment as of press time.
Sullivan said Enterprise made the move because the location, across from Pittsburg Auto Glass, is more visible.
“Before, we were up north and people didn't see us as much,” Sullivan said.
Mark Turnbull, economic development director for the City of Pittsburg, said he’s pleased that Enterprise is moving to the new location.
“Mr. (Brian) Renn has invested in it, and we appreciate that investment and having them joining S. Broadway,” Turnbull said. “It’s a location that is much more convenient, and it will get them in a more modern office situation. This will give them more visibility in the community and hopefully increase their rentals.”
