Two burglaries in the eastern part of Crawford County on Feb. 7 are under investigation by the Crawford County Sheriff’s office.
J.D. Odle, of rural Arcadia, reported that someone had entered his gated property that morning by cutting the chain on the gate, then forcibly entered a building and took numerous handguns, rifles and shotguns, as well as a collection of knives.
A second burglary was reported that afternoon by Alex Phillip, who said someone broke a window to his residence to gain entry and took a laptop computer, jewelry and personal documents.
