There will be a Good Samaritan Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday. Volunteers should meet at 9 a.m. at the Pittsburg Presbyterian Church to receive assignment instructions.
Work this Saturday will include handyman-type projects, painting, yard work, house work and hauling items to the Southeast Kansas Recycling Center.
Good Samaritan Saturdays are held on the first Saturday of each month with the mission of lending a helping hand to those in need in the Pittsburg community.
