PITTSBURG —
A woman was injured when she drove her car in front of a tractor trailer Wednesday evening.
Miranda Grimmer, 20, Riverton, was driving her 1996 GMC Suburban on Centennial and U.S. Highway 69, when she stopped at a red light. She then pulled in front of a 2007 Kenworth tractor trailer driven by Eric Turpen, 36, Pleasanton, and the vehicles collided in the intersection.
Grimmer was transported to Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center by Crawford County EMS. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Department, the Pittsburg Police and Fire departments and the Kansas Highway Patrol also responded to the accident.
