PITTSBURG —
The Pittsburg Police Department, Crawford County EMS and Pittsburg Fire Department responded Thursday afternoon to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of 23rd and Joplin streets in Pittsburg.
Witnesses reported to police that Lori A. Morris, 47, of Pittsburg, was traveling northbound on Joplin St. in a 1994 Chevrolet 1500, and failed to stop at a red light. Her vehicle struck a westbound 1995 Honda Del Sol, which was driven by Rachel Brown, 22, of Pittsburg.
Both drivers were transported to Via Christi Medical for minor injuries received in the accident, and the accident remains under investigation by the Pittsburg Police Department.
