A mother and daughter were taken to a local hospital after a two-car accident Thursday morning.

At 7:49 a.m., the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department got a call about a wreck at U.S. Highway 69 and 510th Road.

A car driven by Alexa Keller, 24, was headed southbound on U.S. 69 diverted her attention and did not notice the car ahead had stopped. Keller’s car hit the second car.

Keller was uninjured, but the occupants of the second car, Jena Wood, 26, Arma, and her dughter Jacklyn, 20 months, were taken to Via Christi Hospital.
