Braden Lynn Dunbar was one of 233 medical students who received the doctor of osteopathic medicine degree during commencement ceremonies May 14 at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.
Dr. Dunbar is the daughter of Danny and Kay Dunbar and Lisa and Shawn Harrigan, all of Pittsburg. She is a 2003 Pittsburg High School graduate, and earned a bachelor of science in biology from Pittsburg State University.
She will complete postdoctoral training in family medicine at Mt. Clemens Regional in Mt. Clemens, Mich.
Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences’ College of Osteopathic Medicine is a fully accredited private university of medicine. Founded in 1916, it is the oldest medical school in Kansas City and the largest in Missouri.
