Steve Curran, Girard, and Sandra Belden, Wichita, announce the engagement and coming marriage of their daughter Lisa to Kirk Duensing, son of Dr. Ken and Zita Duensing, Blue Rapids. The future bride is a 2008 graduate of Girard High School. She is studying journalism and English at the University of Kansas with plans to graduate in May. The future groom is a 2008 graduate of Valley Heights High School. He is studying genetics at the University of Kansas with plans to graduate in May and continue his studies in medical school. The couple plan a June 2, 2012, wedding at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Marysville.
