Senior Services Nutrition Center, 3003 N. Joplin, serves lunchtime meals which are open to any person 60 or older.
Participants are asked to make reservations for lunch one day in advance. A donation of $3 per meal is suggested.
All meals are served with milk and wheat bread with margarine unless otherwise specified. Menus for the week beginning Oct. 15 will be as follows:
MONDAY
Meatloaf with tomato topping, mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli, peaches.
TUESDAY
Ham and beans, cornbread, orange, cornbread.
WEDNESDAY
Chicken stew with biscuit, spinach salad with dressing, chunky applesauce.
THURSDAY
Hot dog with bun, mashed potato salad, mixed vegetables, pears/blueberries.
FRIDAY
Oven baked chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, peas, pineapple/mandarin oranges.
