Chili feed

Pittsburg Avenue of Flags will have its annual chili feed and silent auction from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mirza Shrine, 110  W. Fifth.

Tickets, available at the door, will be $6 for a choice of chili or spaghetti red, dessert and beverage. Items for  the silent auction have been donated by local merchants.

Parsons plant dinner

PARSONS — Kansas Army Ammunition Plant retirement dinner will be held from noon to 2 p.m. at 900 N. 16th, Parsons.
No reservations are required.

Italian Heritage Society

Italian Heritage Society will have a Halloween party at 5 p.m. at Chicopee. Members attending should bring a side dish.
Anyone interested in joining the society may contact Ron Marrone, 232-4442.

Crusaders Singers

MULBERRY — Crusaders Singers will perform at 6 p.m. at the All Faith Church, 307 Military Road, Mulberry. The program will be open to all.

Elks bingo

Pittsburg Elks Lodge will host bingo night, open to the public. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m., with card sales at 5:30 p.m. and mini games at 6 p.m.  Regular games begin at 6:30 p.m. Food and beverages will be available.
Those who bring two canned or boxed food items for the Elks Thanksgiving baskets for the needy will get one free special.
Cake progressive will be 34 numbers or less for $266, and super progressive will be 40 numbers or less for $689. Blackout will be 52 numbers or less for $300.

There will be a coin board, and winners can receive an NFL jacket or one of eight $100 bills. Cherrystripper and dime pull tabs will be available.
If 50 or more people play the  super progressive there will be a bingo event and the winner can receive $50.

If 90 or more play the super progessive the winner could receive $125 or $140.
