Mr. and Mrs. Don Vitt of 12425 Trego Road, St. Paul, KS, will be honored by their three daughters on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception on Saturday, November 26th, 2011 at the Parish Hall in St. Paul, KS from 2:00-4:00 p.m. in the afternoon. Hosting the event will be the couple’s daughters and their families. They are DeLyna Bohnenblust and her husband Jeff, of Altamont, KS; Gayla Land and her husband Robert, of Houston, Texas; and Ranetta Bertoncino and her husband Thomas, of Parkville, MO. The honorees have four grandchildren, Bethany Bohnenblust of Manhatten, KS; Bradley Bohnenblust of Pittsburg, and Samantha and Brooklyn Bertoncino of Parkville, MO. Donald R. Vitt and Vera M. Winans were married on November 25th, 1961 at the St. Francis Church in St. Paul, KS. They have lived north of St. Paul since marriage. Don has farmed and ranched all of his adult life, as well as worked as a mechanic and a school bus driver for over 20 years. Vera worked as a purchasing agent at the Bush Hog Inc. in Galesburg, KS for 20 years before becoming a registered nurse. She has worked as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse for the last 12 years in Pittsburg. Friends and family are invited to share this celebration with the couple. Cards are welcome, however the couple request no gifts.
