Scrubs sale
Via Christi Auxiliary will host a “Scrubs on Site” sale from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the hospital.
Featured will be scrubs from Cherokee, Peaches, Koi and Wink, as well as shoes from Klogs, Alegria, Skechers, Bobs, Akessa and K-Swiss.
The sale will be open to the public. Payment may be made by cash, checks, credit cards or payroll deduction for VHC employees.
Frontenac Rotary
Frontenac Rotary Club will meet at noon at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Frontenac. Program will be presented by John Lair, New Hope Services program director and Special Olympics director.
A.J. Menghini will be Rotarian of the day and Karen Cuendet will serve as greeter. Anna Gudde will be sergeant at arms.
Liberal Ladies
Liberal Ladies Who Lunch wlll meet at noon at the Pittsburg Public Library. Those attending should bring their own lunch and any topics they would like to discuss.
Members will also work on ways to get people out to vote in the April election.
Center bingo
Medicalodge will host free bingo at 1 p.m. at the Homer Cole Community Center. Anyone needing additional information may call the center at 231-9773.
Church dinner
A chicken noodle dinner will be served from 4:30 p.m. until sold out at the Frontenac United Methodist Church.
Prices, which include beverage and dessert, will be $6 for adults and $3 for children aged 3-12. Proceeds will go to the church.
Alpha Kappa Chapter
ARMA — Alpha Kappa Chapter, Phi Tau Omega sorority, will have a work night in preparation for the June national convention at 6:30 p.m. at the home of Theresa Nesbitt. Karen Zerngast will be co-hostess.
Members are asked to bring a snack and scissors to the work night. Any member unable to attend should contact one of the hostesses.
