Emily Susnik and Cory Schnabel exchanged wedding vows on August 27, 2011 at an outdoor ceremony at Hillcrest Country Club in Kansas City, MO with Rev. Heidi Alfrey officiating. Emily is the daughter of Robert and Glenda Susnik of Pittsburg and Cory is the son of Mike Schnabel and Sandy Schnabel of Overland Park. Attending the bride as Maid of Honor was Mary Oler. Bridesmaids were Cassie Bicknell, Liz Loy, Jill Moore and Kelly VanBecelaere. Kyle Schnabel and Michael Schnabel, brothers of the groom, served as Best Men. Groomsmen were Bryan Loveridge, Noah Ney, Mike O’Dell, and Keith Richer. Alex Mize, brother of the groom was a junior groomsman escorting the couple’s dog, Lakin, down the aisle. Ushers were Jason Susnik, brother of the bride, Drew Guntert, Jake Vandervelde and Willie Winkler. Greeters were Kayla Carter, Brooke Beasley and Alicia Evans. Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance reception was held at Hillcrest. The couple now resides in Lenexa, KS.
