This year's Lady Indian Basketball season is going to be an interesting one. With all young players, Coach Doug Tuck is going to have to work with his team to get them where he wants them to be.

Mr. Tuck said, “We have got a lot of to work on and are working to improve each week. With no seniors this year we have to build experience for the girls.” He also added, “[I] want the girls to improve each day and build a good foundation for the next few years.”
With only eleven girls out this year and no seniors, the juniors are going to have to step it up. They are going to have to be role models for the younger girls.

Mr. Tuck said, “Some of the greatest strengths are that the girls show up everyday ready to work hard and eager to learn. Almost all of them came in during summer weights and they are excited to be out.” But there is a downfall to having a young team. Playing varsity is a big difference from playing junior varsity. The game is at a much faster pace and more physical. “Inexperience is our weakness. Four girls that played varsity graduated, so we just need playing time,” Tuck said.
